StaffYour Team in Servicing Your Electrical Needs
Jim credits the company's success to its development and implementation of efficient methods of operation and its technological advances in electrical contracting. Most importantly, he says, Berwick's outstanding staff is made up of experienced people who are dedicated to quality service at all levels of operation. Since his apprenticeship at Berwick Electric began in 1970, Jim Peterson has worked as a journeyman, foreman, project manager, and, most recently, president. Jim's professional affiliations include the National Electrical Contractors' Association (NECA) and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC). In October of 2003 he was awarded the prestigious Comstock Award, one of the electrical construction industry's highest awards, for exceptional contributions to the industry through NECA in the field of Labor Relations.
In 1975, Bill joined Berwick Electric as an apprentice electrician, participating in many large and small projects as both journeyman and foreman. He has been an assistant manager of the Service Department for 13 years and became a partner in the company in 1985. He has an Electrical Design Degree and a Construction Electrician Certificate. He also carries a Master Electrician license. Bill oversees all of the commercial and residential service projects the company handles from day to day. Bill serves on both the JATC and the Journeyman Upgrade Program.
A third-generation native of Colorado, Clay serves on the Regional Building Electrical Review Board, a panel appointed by the Mayor of Colorado Springs and the El Paso County Commissioners. In this capacity, he sets standards of quality for electrical contracting in the region.
His in-depth understanding of technical factors and specialized monitoring equipment allow Berwick Electric to detect and recommend creative and effective solutions to our customers' power quality problems. With 15 years of experience as apprentice and journeyman electrician, Tim joined our service department in 1989. He has since specialized in electrical power quality and control work. Tim keeps up with the advancing technology of power quality devices and is serving as a JATC instructor. 10 Commandments | Vision Statement | Location | History | Staff | News |
