Jim Peterson

Jim Peterson

Jim Peterson, President of Berwick Electric, oversees company operations. A big part of his responsibility is negotiating and leading our design/build services. Under his direction, Berwick Electric has become one of the leading electrical contracting firms in Southern Colorado, experiencing steady growth since Jim's partnership with the company in 1985.

Jim credits the company's success to its development and implementation of efficient methods of operation and its technological advances in electrical contracting. Most importantly, he says, Berwick's outstanding staff is made up of experienced people who are dedicated to quality service at all levels of operation.

Since his apprenticeship at Berwick Electric began in 1970, Jim Peterson has worked as a journeyman, foreman, project manager, and, most recently, president.

Jim's professional affiliations include the National Electrical Contractors' Association (NECA) and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC). In October of 2003 he was awarded the prestigious Comstock Award, one of the electrical construction industry's highest awards, for exceptional contributions to the industry through NECA in the field of Labor Relations.
