Berwick Philanthropy - In the Pikes Peak Region

4th Annual Defenders of Freedom Veterans Recognition Ride

We appreciate ALL that the men/women in the services have done for us

Berwick Electric has sponsored the longest law enforcement escorted ride (40 miles) since 2008.  2011 was the 4th annual ride, specifically designed to recognize not only to assist our severly injured service men and women from their duties overseas, but also to recognize the major military bases in the Pikes Peak region - Schriever Air Force Base, Peterson Air Force Base, Fort Carson and the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Over the last 3 years, the total donated to this ride (to go towards the Wounded Warrior Project) has come in just under $14,000! Berwick Electric was able to pick up a second sponsor's spot this year to help cover all the costs so that every dollar raised went to our military men & women.

Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center

Berwick Electric takes social responsibility for those in special need of rehabilitation

A place anyone can get a horseback riding lesson and children with special needs can go to get hippotherapy, Colorado Springs Therapeutic Riding Center does not fall short of the highest expectations.  For the past few years, Berwick Electric has been donating time and resources to help the CO Springs TRC finish their indoor arena.  Now weather will not be a problem for the riders that need the therapy, or the friends of the organization that would like riding lessons.  Berwick Electric donated the electrical services needed to get the arena up and running.

Thank you to the following Berwick Employees (current & former) that have donated their time to the completion of the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center:
