The West Course, also redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. (1964), hosted the 1998 PGA Cup Matches. The Mountain Course (2006) was designed by Jack Nicklaus (Nicklaus Design). Nicklaus won his first major championship at the Broadmoor in 1959.

Guests of all ages will enjoy an exclusive tour of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, America's ONLY mountain zoo. Enjoy the morning with some of the most exotic and exciting animals offered for viewing in Western America. The zoo, rising 6,800-7,000 ft. above sea level, is home to over 800 animals of 200 different species - 30 of which are endangered! The tour includes a sky ride and tour of the Will Rogers Shrine.

One of the most popular tours guests can take is an unforgettable trip to the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak! They can sit back, relax and take in the splendors of Colorado as the highest cog railway in the world takes them through hidden valleys, past groves of quaking aspens and over the tundra at timberline. Colorado wildlife and panoramic fields of wildflowers are all around as the modern Swiss train heads for the summit.

Once on the summit, guests will see the same unparalleled vistas which inspired Katherine Lee Bates to write America the Beautiful!

This mountain horseback ride offers a
beautiful trek through the scenic Pike
National Forest. Knowledgeable guides
will escort guests along beautiful trails
that cross old mining claims, and provide

the Front Range.

Elk, buffalo, and other indigenous animals
are often seen along the way. Horseback
riding is a fantastic way to experience the
natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains!

Golf at BroAdmoor East Course

The BroAdmoor East Course is a combination of 9 holes that were designed in 1948 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and 9 original holes designed by master golf course architect, Donald Ross in 1918. The course reopened in 1952 as the new East Course.

Garden of the Gods: Guided segway tour through Colorado Springs’ premier destination location, Garden of the Gods is THE view to behold when visiting the Pikes Peak Region. Segways: Balance on two wheels. . . but not on a bicycle! Over the course of a three-hour excursion, guests will experience the fun and versatility of riding a Segway. Tours will take guests through the awe-inspiring Garden of the Gods, where millennia-old rock formations stretch toward the sky.

The USAFA is set against the Rampart
Range of the Rocky Mountains, providing
a beautiful setting for this 18,000-acre
property that houses over 4,000 cadets.

During the Academy tour, guests see
the Visitor’s Center and an authentic B-52
that served a tour in Vietnam, along with
the world-famous Academy Chapel. Guests
get a glimpse of a cadet’s life while at the
USAFA.

ATTN: This tour is paired with a tour
of Garden of the Gods as well.
